Subsequently, whether there is Italian jurisdiction or not, it will be necessary to collect depositions of witnesses and to obtain the disclosure of relevant documentation from the owner of the other vessel, by also applying to the competent Tribunal. The possibility to achieve an amicable settlement will be constantly pursued before deciding to bring the matter before the Court, in which case the assistance of the most reputable marine surveyors will be constantly sought.
