Paola Barucco, born in Genoa on 2nd June 1964, graduated at the University of Genoa in 1988.
In 1991 she was admitted to the Bar, as "avvocato", with highest marks.
From 1989 till 1994 she worked in the law office of Professor Sergio Ferrarini, Emeritus Professor of Maritime Law at the Genoa University.
From 1994 she practised as a lawyer, in a partnership, in international law and specifically in maritime law and marine insurance.
In 2003 she resigns from the law firm of which she was a founding partner to begin to practice as a single practitioner.
In 2004 she participates to the initiative of Genoa Chambers.
